Anita Edington, CIA, CPA, MCM, HCP

Ms. Edington currently functions as a Market Regulation Manager for The INS Companies (INS). Her primary responsibilities include comprehensive reviews of insurance carrier processes, procedures and claim handling in accordance with the NAIC Market Regulation Handbook, applicable statutes and regulations, as well as other guidelines, to assess compliance with state and federal requirements. She is also responsible for the analysis and compliance status of company policies and procedures within the scope of examinations as well as the synthesis of all analysis findings into client or state specific reporting formats.

She has recently served on the Pharmacy Benefit Manager (PBM) team where she assists with multiple areas of PBM examinations, including claims testing, contract review, and rebate analysis. Ms. Edington is a graduate of the University of Louisville with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and holds the following industry designations: Certified Insurance Examiner (CIA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Market Conduct Management (MCM), Healthcare Compliance Professional (HCP).
